So you've been there for years then you're was a your stroke was pretty clean and then you've smoked in the past about back at 8 20 years you stopped 20 years ago and you're out of bed do you cough not really not really okay alright good have you been coughing over the last few days the last few days almost like very start as an infection mhmm not I've been trying to draw out know from the cough I'm with you it feels like I need to bring something up I'm really really tired fine I'm with you trouble expecting very very deep yeah yeah I see I don't yeah sounds dry doesn't it yeah it smells like a normal cough productive cough yeah yeah okay that's fine so not bringing anything up but you are coughing have you felt everything no there's 1 day after my operation I woke up in the morning I was on 1 of the walks k I woke up coughing what got off I'm not worried about that it's true sorry I'm talking no no no strange I'm not sure it's interesting to know about today so and then so a bit of a cough the shortness of breath your your ct scan shows you've got a chest infection and pneumonia oh it's all it is have you got a sore throat no no nothing like that are you feeling feverish hot and cold and shivering and shaky you are I've had the fever okay fine it's really bad yesterday think it's done the day before they've got you on some good strong antibiotics obviously I'm off for that we should make sure that you haven't got a viral infection because antibiotics won't treat that with a throat swab I don't know if you've done that but that would be a sensible thing to do just make sure you haven't got like covid or flu or something like that which is unfortunately going around now yeah even if it's summer and how are your bowels when's the last time you were a pee yeah I'm not trying to yeah yeah too slow too fast I think after 6 operations they stopped working oh wow k and I I did like the last this day last couple of weeks we're having an hour and a half after an hour and a to try to get them working again mhmm so it essentially and are you having anything in the top end anything like laxido and senna every day good fine keep going with that and that's what think your ct scan shows that you're very constipated as well right yeah so you you definitely need to get some of that out and certainly your tummy looks just like there's still some more in there if that's still more in there apparently yeah do you know I'm thinking of somebody that that's how I feel yeah you look at it know you are literally full of shit no you're both saying it's horrible feeling isn't it yeah and that affects your breathing as well because it pushes up on your chest it won't expand your chest as much and then you're more likely to get pneumonia so all these things stick you know they all link together we can get you moving we can improve your respiratory function have a quick listen to your chest oh fantastic do some bridge breaths for me I've got some end expiratory wheeze just at the end there on both sides and that left lower part is quite quiet and that's where your new baby is can I feel your tongue yeah it's very fast here I think certainly full of gas can you hear that yeah like a drum yeah you need to have a big plaque to get out yeah unfortunately enemies don't reach up that far do they so all of the twos around this side we need to get in from the top to get it out yeah and then it's going to be chip and obviously we have lots of laxative horrible tasting orange stuff okay feel interesting but it does work really well to get things moving through okay and and actually shall I even more roll around walking around is amazing for it isn't yeah because I know we've gone back on the back operation 3 weeks but the I kept moving my feet and that's why I was able to do it and now I'm bothered because all the good work I did for this injury was all we're worried we're just in bed we're in auckland hospital and we just put you in a bed and that he's stagnated here yeah right should be the other way around you should come to see me that'd be great yeah I'll put my feet up it's nice to meet you thank make sure everything's sorted in terms of increased laxatives make sure you're on some good strong antibiotics I prescribe you some misting mask to try and loosen your airways up a bit to help you bring that stuff up it's like moist stuff you breathe in to help you expect to rate that okay okay and if you bring anything up we've got a sample and we'll do a throat swab as well excellent does she ever she doesn't doesn't think I'll have the the fever tonight well you're on a pretty strong antibiotic so hopefully if you do have fevers then you've probably got a viral infection right which unfortunately we don't have a treatment for we're just gonna wait it out but I hope you don't eyes crossed I know I know thanks again don't call me later sorry is that alright yeah I've got a phone number guys I've got the notes here are you muted yeah have no this is not gonna be good swap them over that's fine but where would I find the notes for him oh interesting it's a okay excellent thank you obstructive sleep apnea doesn't he have at home psoriasis t a 1 mg clopidogrel and aspirin
